Woodbury Country Club is one of the 100 oldest private golf clubs in the United States, celebrating it's 108th anniversary. It is widely known for its overall superb condition and especially for perfectly manicured greens which are lightning-quick and for immaculately groomed fairways.
The course is considered a fair but challenging test with a premium on accuracy, not distance. Since length off the tees is not a premium, golfers unfamiliar with the course often are surprised by the degree of diffic ulty.
